PROBLEM: When you open a browser and go to the Release Manager web site you get the message: "This is a marker file generated by the precompilation tool, and should not be deleted!"

REASON: This is because the "ASP.NET Version:" is not set.

SOLUTION: From IIS Manager right click the virtual directory and set the property as shown below.
